Share the love and support your home studio or fave pole brand

Welcome to the Australian Pole Directory! I can’t tell you how excited I am that you’re here!

This website was my #isoproject, my way to be connected to the pole industry while we were all effectively confined to our homes, as well as being my way to help support and lift the industry up during the unprecedented hard times that 2020 has brought upon us all.

I wanted to create a place online where we as polers could come and find exactly what it is we’re looking for, be it a pole studio in a new neighbourhood, a specific pole brand, an allied health professional who is experienced in working with aerial athletes, or a competition to enter.

My goal has been to make this the most comprehensive resource of it’s kind serving an Australian audience. I also wanted to make this a place where pole-related businesses WITHOUT a budget could still list themselves and be found by our community. With these are my guiding principles, I did the heavy lifting myself and tracked down as many pole-centric businesses as I could find, that service the Australian pole community.

For businesses that DO have a budget, I also offer premium listings. This site has been quite expensive to build, and I have invested literally hundreds of hours into building it, so I needed to find a way to make it sustainable, so I can keep the site operating.

Support your home studio or favourite pole-centric business and they could WIN a free premium listing!

I want the pole industry to thrive, and I know that times are tough and belts must be tightened. I am offering a way for pole businesses without a budget to upgrade to a premium listing for 12 months, for FREE.

I’ll be gifting 3 FREE Premium listings to the 3 pole studios with the most genuine reviews on their Australian Pole Directory listing at midnight on the 31st of July 2020.

I’ll also be gifting 3 FREE Premium listings to the 3 pole-centric businesses (non-studio) with the most genuine reviews on their Australian Pole Directory listing at midnight on the 31st of July 2020.

How can I help my home studio or favourite pole-centric business to win?

All you have to do is log in to the Australian Pole Directory (you can create an account here), and leave a review on their listing. Let us know what you love about them! It’s as simple as that!

If you want to be a bit extra, tell your pole buddies to do the same. Shout it from the rooftops, share it on social media – the more reviews a business or studio has, the greater the chance of topping the leaderboard at the end of the month!

I own a pole studio or pole-centric business. How can I increase my chances of winning?

Super simple! Just ask people to review you on the Australian Pole Directory! Ask your instructors to mention it in class, ask your followers on social media to leave you a review, add a call to action on your email signature – anything you can do to encourage your students, customers or followers to review your business will get you closer to that free listing.

Is there a catch?

Nope, no catch. Just a couple of rules to keep game-play fair for all:

  1. This competition period runs from 12:00 pm AEST on the 1st of July 2020 until 11:59 pm AEST on the 31st of July 2020.
  2. Listings must have been claimed or created by the business owner. Listings that remain unclaimed at the end of the competition period are not eligible to win.
  3. Free 12-month premium listing upgrades will be awarded to the three pole studios (either physical or online) with the highest number of written reviews at the end of the competition period.
  4. Free 12-month premium listings will be awarded to the three pole-centric businesses with the highest number of written reviews at the end of the competition period.
  5. Written reviews must be genuine reviews. The definition of a genuine review lies at the sole discretion of the Australian Pole Directory team (what we’re looking to ensure is that reviews are not coming from bots or other non-genuine sources)
  6. If the winning pole studio or business has already purchased a 12-month premium listing, they will have the option to either refund the price paid, or to extend their listing for an additional year.
  7. Be nice. Play fair. Don’t try and cheat.

Got questions? Hit me up in the comments and I’ll get you sorted!
