I’m absolutely passionate about pole. I did my first pole class in 2006 but have been poling consistently for around 4 years now – in Europe.
When I moved back to Australia, I struggled to find the right studio for me. I did trial classes at a few studios, and even joined a big name studio for a while. Honestly, at these other studios I felt like a number attached to a dollar sign.
When I sent an email to World of Pole asking for a trial class, I received a phone call from one of the girls at the studio. We had a chat, and she was genuinely interested in getting to know who I was and what I was looking for.
When I turned up to the studio, I was greeted like it was a celebration of me being there. I participated in a class with an excellent, highly technical instructor and loved every second of it. I joined up on the spot.
2 weeks after I joined, the world closed down (2020 amirite). The studio pivoted immediately and launched an excellent timetable of online classes, both on and off the pole. Through this, I have had the opportunity to get to know many of the studio instructors, and I both like and respect all of them (and tbh, I’m a pretty picky bitch).
I highly recommend World of Pole to anyone in the general greater Blacktown area. It’s an excellent studio that deserves a higher profile and more recognition.
